Kitty Cat Pedro
Pedro Pedigo, aka Kitty Cat Pedro or KCP is an interesting cat. He is the only cat I know of that is house broken. He was adopted by the previous owner of the house after being found abandoned in the woods as a kitten. Greg, the previous owner didn't know what to do so he took him to the vet. Pedro was taken care of at the hospital and was actually named by the staff. Greg traveled quite a bit and often took Pedro back to the vet for boarding.
Greg moved in April '99 when I bought the house and asked if I wanted to take Pedro. He was moving to a more developed area and didn't know how Pedro would react. The rest is history, it took months for Pedro to warm up to the new inhabitants of the house but is now part of the family. He stays nights in the house during the winter but loves to spend the rest of his free time enjoying the outdoors. In the summer he is a full-time outdoor cat. Most the neighbors know Pedro and he hangs out with whoever is around outside.
I was standing on the deck trying to talk Pedro to jump into the leaves.
It was a quite a large pile.
He wasn't into the leave pile jumping thing.
...and left to do some hunting.

Don't wash your cat with Dial. They'll smell good but it doesn't suit them.
He wants to go outside but being just bathed, it was a little too cold for a wet cat.
We are now equipped with 'cat' shampoo. It costs about twice as much.
